The Red Tent is a sacred place. A place of refuge or rest, a place of safety, a place where you can feel at peace.
We are living in times that do not feel peaceful.
Now more than ever we need safe spaces to gather. To come together in circle, to laugh, cry, learn and share with each other.
Red Tents are a global movement of women coming together and finding time to just be where they are, meet other women in their community, to restore and give what is needed to ourselves, rather than follow time worn paths of self hurt and judgement when things are hard.
We have always met this way as women. Holding the community fire
We carry the capacity to connect, to feel, to create, to destroy and to hold. We cycle with the earth in many different time-line cycles. From maiden to elder, from blood to ovulation, from reflection to expression. In ancient times our spirituality was honoured, and our connection to these cycles recognized by all as a gift that brings forth the wisdom of the sacred into the community. We were given space to retreat and listen. In this space we are remembering the value of this together. A place for the female voice to be truly heard, to feel valued and to feel safe.
The East Suffolk Red Tent is an intentionally co-created space for women to share, connect and be held just as they are. We welcome all women; sisters, mothers, menstruating girls, menopausal women, young mums, grandmothers, and friends to attend a monthly gathering where you will be welcomed as you are and as all of who you are.
Whatever season of your life you are in, you are invited to gather for a monthly circle of restoration and connection, held in the in the heart of Framlingham on the Friday closest to New Moon.
Our venue combines a walled garden and a beautiful, light indoor space filled with warmth.
The circles are co created intuitively by those who attend. Generally we may start with time to drink tea and chat. There may be a short grounding meditation offered before a chance to share and witness each other in circle. There may be opportunities to be creative, or connect with nature and you are invited to bring nibbles to share. Herbal tea will be provided.

The dark can feel like a scary place, and something we are taught to fear from such a young age, particularly as women.
Join me on Full Moon, for a walk through the forest in the dark. We will start with a gentle practice, to help you awaken your senses and deepen into the landscape before heading off on the walk. Along the way there will be invitations of contemplations and some moon energy chit chat. We will finish with a short meditation and gratitude practice.
This is a women only walk and designed to support women to feel more confident being outside in darkness, and reframe our beliefs that the woods are a scary place for us to be at night!
Moon Walks will return in the Autumn of 2023
