We live in a culture of blame and shame, and this can cause us to lose ourselves in the quest to fulfil all of the expectations placed upon us.
We find ourselves wrung out, exhausted, unfulfilled and wondering what on earth went wrong. We have been taught to suppress ourselves, to play nice and to be good. To be the perfect wife, mother, employee, daughter. To be the perfect weight, have the perfect hair.
In the search for 'perfection' we have lost who we truly are. We have forgotten the fire that burns inside of us, the beauty that is every part of us. We have abandoned our wild, untamed selves in order to fit into a box not designed to hold the immense power that we create when we step into our light.
Join us on this one day retreat, deep in Suffolk woodland, where you will be guided through a journey of reconnecting back to your wild self through deep nature connection.
Through sound, movement, dance, art and discussion in circle with other women we will rekindle the embers of the divine feminine fire that burns within each and everyone one of us.
Plant based refreshments will be provided. Please bring your own lunch.

An immersive exploration for women of wild landscape and wild self as we experience Orford Ness in the dark
As women we often feel like the dark is a scary place, both outside at night and in a metaphorical sense in terms of our own moods and emotions.
This event will offer an opportunity for women to gather, at August Full Moon, on the beautiful, untamed surroundings of Orford Ness. Through mindful, exploratory practices you will be guided on a journey from sunset to sunrise as we deepen our relationship with the darkness.
Arriving at Orford Quay at 5pm we will take the boat over to the Ness and settle in to our accommodation and learn about the history of the landscape over supper.
After supper we will head out to the land and begin our immersion with a grounding to come into our senses and watch the sun set over the horizon. As darkness falls we begin our walk together where you will be invited into mindful practices to support your exploration of both outer nature, and your inner nature. This will involve time alone in the dark, around ninety minutes of walking and a safe, held space for sharing our experiences with each other.
We will rise before dawn and head out to watch the sun rise over the land and retrace our steps from the night before. Exploring inner and outer nature through a renewed connection to our sense of sight and opening up to further exploration of our experience. We will finish with a final gratitude practice.
The experience will end with our boat ride back to the quay at 9.30am.
Accommodation is provided in shared rooms. A fully equipped kitchen is available for use aswell as a comfortable communal lounge.
Bookings are via the National Trust website.
